The Augustine Senior Trip - Athens

When we saw our friends walk out of the Athens airport, two worlds collided.

World 1: For the previous four months we Greens had been visiting countries, not knowing people, language, or culture. Always we had the family, but never the kind of friends we have in Jackson. World 2:  Suddenly we found ourselves with people we have known for our whole lives and grown up together, knowing the same language, jokes, and teachers. How refreshing. The Augustine Senior Trip traveled to Athens, Rome, Paris, London, Oxford, and Cambridge. Here is Athens...

We took a day trip to Corinth. This is the mountain we climbed to get a great view of the ancient city.

Behind us is the Lyceum where Aristotle started his school of philosophy and taught.
