Christmas in Cambridge...Boo-ya

This is Caleb

Merry Christmas Folks,

This Christmas was spent with two American families--the Haywards and the Robars. Christmas Eve with Haywards and Christmas day with Robars.
In England for special occasions, there are Crackers, (what dad is holding) that when ripped opened produce a treat.

That was christmas Eve.
Woke up Christmas morning to the smell of delicious food

We had breakfast at our house before going to church then going to the Robars
We had a kids and an adults table with all the traditional food, even sweet potato casserole

Tennis in Cambridge

Greetings!  Brad here.  There is a park near Tyndale House  (Lammas Land).  We enjoy going there to play tennis (Brad and the children).
These pictures were from two different days--one in November, the other in December.  A lot of fun!

Dad's still got it.

This is a real-life picture.  We would never set up a picture, and pretend it is a live shot.

This second day of pictures are from December.  A dear friend, Jacob Imam joined us.

This next series of shots with Daniel are precious.  He was having fun with Jacob, challenging him.  I will let you guess what happens from the great series of pictures!

We will miss our tennis time in Cambridge!

Swiss Adventures

Hello this is Caleb

While in Switzerland we traveled from Zurich to Geneva (the main cities in the north and south of Switzerland). Here are some adventures we had while traveling in between them:

These two pictures (above and below) are from a town we ran across and decided to take some pictures

Walking though an old Medieval Swiss town and we saw a lambo...

This lion is a monument to men who died protecting King Louis XVI of France.
When leaving Zurich we heard about the FIFA headquarters and drove there on the way out of town

Then once on the road ran into a heavy snow storm

A John Rutter Christmas!

We are approaching Cambridge, and enjoying the season in the U.K. (Brad here).

One day in November we were walking by the Royal Albert Hall, and I noticed that there was going to be John Rutter Christmas concert on December 8.  I have loved my John Rutter Christmas cd for many year.  So one of my Christmas presents was for the family to go to the concert.  It was wonderful.

We enjoyed the evening with our friends Peter and Ilona Greyling.

A Merry Christmas to all!

Ice Skating with the lads!

This is by Dan the Man.  For our last get together with most of our friends, we went to the Cambridge winter fair thing. First we ice skated for 45 min., then we through the frisbee and talked for an hour and a half. It was sooo fun. There were 13 of us!

Dad was our official cameraman:) He got some good action pics.

They call me the eagle.

Then afterwards we went out to the park that the skating rink is in, and we threw the frisbee  in a big circle.

Tori took the last 2 pics, and I thought they were very awesome.
Kind of dark, but this is I, Daniel, Caleb, Joel, and James. (Random fact, the 3 of our closest guy fiends at church all start with "J". James, Josh, Joel.)
Well overall we had a good time with everyone, and bye till nextime:)
