| From the Garden of Gethsemane, one can see the hill on which Solomon's Temple stood. Today the place where it stood is just within the city walls, where the gold dome is peeking over the wall. |

Mount of Olives (There used to be a lot more olive trees than there are now.)

| On the Mount of Olives is this cemetery, from which the Jews believe the Messiah will come. Therefore, this is prime real estate as far as burial places go for the Jews in Jerusalem. |
